We are seeking a Patient Scheduling Executive who will be responsible for managing patient appointment scheduling, coordinating with providers, and ensuring a smooth patient experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle U.S. healthcare scheduling systems effectively.
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments with providers.
Coordinate with patients, physicians, and clinic staff to manage calendars efficiently.
Verify patient demographic details, insurance coverage, and eligibility prior to scheduling.
Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist patients with appointment-related queries.
Manage cancellations, waitlists, and no-shows to optimize provider schedules.
Document appointment details accurately in the scheduling system/EHR.
Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Collaborate with Prior Authorization and Billing teams when needed.
Meet productivity and quality benchmarks for scheduling operations.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Healthcare/Business preferred).
1–2 years of experience in U.S. healthcare scheduling, call center, or medical billing.
Strong knowledge of scheduling software, EMR/EHR systems preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage patient interactions with empathy and professionalism.
Comfortable working night shifts (U.S. process).
